I don't know what you mean by author of this site.
There is no one author of this site. William Shakespeare wrote his plays, Charles Dickens wrote his novels. There are works by over 80 authors on this site.
I am the publisher of this site. I get the works by these authors and publish them online, but I am not the author.
The best feature of this site is the search engine. You can search any author or book and be taken directly to the word or phrase in the text.
This site is not really here to teach, but rather as a reference for people needing to look up particular passages or quotes - as well as for those wanting to read the classics online.

Romeo and Juliet, ay? Trustworthy information, ay? Well, see the thing is, Romeo is gay. And he doesn't really die at the end, since he is part of the living undead. Written by the Italian author Shakespeare in the nineteenth century, it sparked huge political controversy and sparked debates that have raged to this day.
<just so you know(in case you can't tell), I made that all up. I just always wanted to invent fictional answers for all the people who come here asking for English help. Sorry-had to do it>
And they call ME sarcastic :D.

Dude, its one thing when somone stumbles upon our page while googling whatever book they're reading, but when someone is evaluating THIS page for a class, I think it would be good to give them some solid info. BTW KristinMarie, how have you been a member since Apr 2002 and only have 5 posts? Shame on you!
