Welcome erho! There are many types of things you can read for practice. Are you interested in short stories or poems?

In case you are interested in current affairs, you might want to consult the homepages of English writing newspapers.

www.timesonline.co.uk (I especially recommend Mary Beard's blog there)
www.bbc.co.uk (they also have a great online radio player included that might help you improving your listening comprehension and pronunciation.)

If you have access you might like the Reader's Digest for short stories and articles. I occasionally relate true slice of life stories on my blog to amuse myself and the long suffering wife and hopefully other readers.
