Fallen for a stranger
whose words are all too kind,
soft enough to easy my mind
yet strong enough to stop time.
to take me to a place
that I have never seen,
knowing a truth I thought was dead.
a love that should have never been
far too gone to turn back now.
I curse the words I said that night
simply cause I felt them true.
lost inside a voice so clear
tells me what I’ll never hear.
I know it’s true
I know it’s wrong.
but I can't seem to leave it be.
how far must I have fallen
to feel as if I’m lost inside every word he says?
others have lied, and so others have tried.
a heart left to heal
A mind left to wonder
How am I feeling this storm inside myself?
Is he an angel?
Or my demons gone to hide
How did he show me this haven inside?
I’ve fallen for a stranger
Of whose face I’ve rarely seen.
Holding me through his words
Helping me hold my sanity,
He’s taken, that I know
Sadly so am I.
Still I somehow tripped over my own two feet
I’ve fallen off a cloud
Right into his arms,
My dreams are filled of him.
A phantom in the night
