Hello again everyone!!!

I have been away for three weeks or so but it feels like way longer...
First i was on a school trip to a science conference in San Francisco... (it was AMAZING). And then we had exams :( . But I'm back now and am determined to make some wonderfully profound and interesting comments...

If I seem somewhat more enthusiastic than usual, that's because he asked me out!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!! And we went out last night. And it was good. I'm so happy!!!!

Nice to see you back. Didn't you say somewhere you were English? If so that is quite a school trip to go from England to San Francisco. Must have been quite an adventure for your lioness heart. :p ;) What in particular did you like about San Fran? Were you able to go about northern California? It's a lovely area of the country. Congrats also on your date. :)

Yeah, the flight took ages. Luckily we all get on well, so we amused ourselves quite nicely... The city was AMAZING! I don't normally like cities, but I loved the atmosphere of San Francisco. the trouble was, it made all of us act really strangely, because England feels so repressed in comparison that the entire trip was just mad, really. We didn't get to do much sightseeing unfortunately, but we went on a city tour, and then to Alkatraz. I was amazed how pretty the island is! And it was so amazing having a city so close to the sea; it made everything feel so much more open.

OK, I'm using this far too much. But I'm back again. This time from a month in Tanzania (and a couple of weeks recovering from various illnesses protracted there). I wish other people would use this thread more, because I'm feeling rather attention-seeking at announcing my rearrival. But anyway... good to see you all again and hello to all the new people!!
