I’ve just finished reading One Shot for the second time. I was wondering why did Lee Child decide not to name the town in Indiana where Reacher arrives in. And I found the answer on a new very complete website jackreacher.co.uk he did it on purpose because he wanted “the setting to be atmospheric, a ‘vibe’ or a ‘feeling’ rather than get hung-up on particular geography’.
