Someone was searching for a poet who used change as favorite theme. The work of Elizabeth Barrett Browning might be useful. Any poet would do since that one immutable law is change will happen. Some avoid it. Some embrace it. Life's slings force me to ride the fence.

The theme of change, of the world in a state of constant flux, permeates poetry. Change as mutability--as an alternation of the perceived world--is famously exemplified in Edmund Spenser's "Mutabilitie Cantos," which appeared in the 1609 edition of the Fairie Queene. Modern poets like Wallace Stevens are absorbed not with natural mutability but with the mind's changing perceptions and interpretations of the natural world.
