I haven't read much about Davy Crockett, but I did read his autobiography. It's interesting. Not very long, and maybe not very informative, But it's pretty entertaining and I'm assuming it's accurate since it's Davy himself. It's called Davy Crockett, His Own Story. published by Applewood Books (www.awb.com)
