I am new to this web page. I entered seeking a chat room that would help me remember books I have read from years past. The book in mention was about a pharmaceutical aid,(female if that helps) who worked for the company that developed Thalidomide. They new the side effects it was causing in the 50's but wouldn't come forth with the inferiority of the product due to the vast income it was developing. The CEO in the firm, had given the drug to his daughter (in law?) and was now worried of the outcome. The heroin took great courage in bringing it all out in the open.
