Can anyone identify the figure of speech to which the title of this message belongs?

"journey of the mind"

I believe the closest would be "personification" but I'm not sure.

metaphor? Or maybe idiom.

it looks more like a simile to me. But I'm not sure it is a figure...

The use of "journey" in that is an analogy, but it is also simply an unusual use to "journey. In one sense of, it is a metaphor.

Thanks. I think it is metaphor by putting it this way:

SIMILE: [It's like] a journey of the mind.
METAPHOR: [It's] a journey of the mind.

Yes it's metaphor. Personification is a type of metaphor so I can see how you might think it is an example of that. Simile and metaphor are both description through comparison but metaphor is more compressed and you can always spot simile by the use of 'like' or 'as' ... 'as'

It is a metaphor, if you think that journeys can only be travel through physical space; but, if a journey is movement of any kind, then it is not a metaphor. It's up to you.

I don't know why but I thought it was the opposite...

Definitely a metaphor, but you could also argue that it's personification or even apostrophe.

apostrophe? That's a form of address as in 'O wild west wind...' I can't see that it's that. It is a rather decontextualised expression though
