Hi, Im a student. There's a secondary school examination soon, and I want to know Prefixes, suffixes and root words so I can figure out meaning of words in the test (without using a dictionary, because thats not allowed). I've tried searching the internet, but the lists they give me are not very complete at all, and the exercise books demand much more than what I can get from the websites. Does anyone know a good website for me to use or can they post lots and losts of Prefixes, Suffixes, and root words? Thanks
P.S. I'm going to check the library for books when I get the chance..

The root words are the problem, but there should be many sources that list pretty much all of the prefixes and suffixes. I don't think that there is a single dource for all of the roots, because there is disagreement about some. If you find such a list, let me know, I would like to look at it.

Oh, I'll have another search.
And I'm going to go to the library right now

I can Suggest you a book Called "The World Book of Word Power" Vol - 1, published by World Book Inc 525 W. Monroe, Chicago IL 60661. In this book you will get lots of frefixes and suffixes with their meanings.
