IWilKiku is a very naughty boy! Trying to start a thread entitled Fight Thread.
I have my suspicions that IWilKiku may be Atiguhya Padma.
Anyway, I'm opening up this thread for people who want to make an expression about the things they love. And hey....
I LOVE Y'ALL!!!!
You are all lovable, but some of you are more lovable than others!
And I love music, and literature, and lilac sunsets over Cornish horizons on a summers evening, and light, and dark night skies............
Atiguhya, didn't you imply somewhere, that perhaps, you don't believe in love? You are intriguing.
I love...
my family,
literature,
learning,
stimulating conversations,
natures beauty,
the essence of humanity,
pizza and ice cream.

Yeah, you're right, I did imply that.
All I can say, is that the sense of the term 'love' that I used in that implication, was a different sense to the term I am using here. Either that, or I am contradictory. Or ambiguous. Maybe both. Or it could be that I am being facetious. Which apparently is one of only two words in the English language that house all the vowels in their correct order, without repetition of a vowel. I was going to be abstemious, with regard to the pleasure of revealing the other word, but have now decided not to be.:)
I think I'll opt for the ambiguous explanation.
Hell, I'm just plum full of ambiguity!!
You do have an alluring sense of humor and a charming way with words! *sigh* Oh wait, I think I may be contributing to the size of your...ego. LOL I think the old timers here must be ready to vomit by now.

Poor abdo died, admin burned his body and spread the ashes over time, I am neither an old or new timer but a rock in a sea of inevitability.
Any how I love:
Fish
Books
Language
Biology
And...
People who take the time to care about others.
In fact I don't like a lot of people, hate quite a few more, but I have respect for most people here.

passing by a rosemary bush with purple flowers and ending up with its scent on my fingers
the smell of frosting
books
my friends
my boyfriend (this is obviously not in the correct order :D)
rainy days
the floor of redwood groves - all soft and nettly and brown and sweet
hugging huge trees
dancing along downed redwoods by The Avenue of the Giants
waking up after a wonderful sleep
smiling at strangers
did i mention cheese yet? the stinkier the better. if it smells like feet, Wonderful - camembert, for example :D (drool)
my phone
my brother
poetry. not because i love it. just because it keeps me alive.
And: Cats (smushy, mushy, kissy emoticon)
Oh come on... I love 'pet hates' lists!

I love the way that time peels away layers of flesh from all of us without any of us noticing.
I love this print on my wall of a dragon eating a guys face off from the National Gallery in London.
I love seeing people get hit square in the nuts and fall down gasping for air and turning purple.
I love going to public swimming pools and sneaking up behind old ladies and peeing on them.
I love the Japanize guy next door with the awsome sterio, cause he holds a 24-hour rave in his room with the volume cranked.
I love the Chicago Bears. Go Bears!!!
And the Cubs.
Not so much the Blackhawks.
Oh and Starbucks, because all they ask in exchange for deliceous coffee and esspresso drinks is that I look the other way as they rape coffee farming villiages on every continent except for antarctica, exploiting farmers and their families, destroying forests rather than producing environmentally friendly shadegrown coffee, running smaller coffee shop businesses out of town and depriving the proprieters of sallery and self expression. Oh yeah and about 3.00. Damn thats some good coffee.

This is for you Koa:
My pet hates it when you scratch behind his ears. But than again all fish do.

After a good run with my pooch she likes to flop down on the cool tile of the kitchen floor and pant. There's always a big smile on her fuzzy little face and she can pant at a harmonic frequency that shakes the whole house.
I love that.
Oh yeah,
also I love my wife

Better not let your wife on this site.

I love words, and think they are magic.
Still I think that there is not enough of different words for love.
I love my boyfriend, and have loved him for nine years now. I also love broccoli, but not the same way.
I love:
alliteration (oh, yes)
Jazz and blues
And anything with a pumping beat on a friday night
or Monday,
well, actually whenever.
I love my work.
I love the fact that I love my work.
I love friends and family.
I love reading the forum-
I admit shamefaced that I love reading the nice compliments and answers to my letters or questions a little bit more than I love reading the rest... I keep eager watch for them, and they make my day.
And right now I love imagining you all doing the things you love.
Den - drinking that red Shiraz.
verybaddmom - snuggling between clean sheet, warm from bath, and with the head full of newly read thoughts.
Sancho playing with his dog.
And all the rest of you, but now I got to go.

Well, since I'm new, and because everyone else is doing other things tonight... er, this morning... I'll indulge...
I love...
My squishy purry warm fuzzy kitties... and how they're so soft and so pointy at the same time, and also when their eyes go huge and black when they're excited;
My beautiful white kitty that the fox ate last July;
Every time a cat at the shelter gets adopted (Ok, enough kitties);
My best friend (how we share a brain, and how she loves me even more when I do something dumb, and how mad she gets when someone makes me feel bad);
My guy friends (how they're so strong and so like little boys at the same time);
Trent Reznor, 'cause he's pretty;
When the sun comes out after a storm, and the clouds are blue behind the black trees;
Gregorian chant;
Sitting alone with my camera in the old cemetery in the fall, with the sun setting through the pink-and-yellow maple leaves, and the smell of the leaves and the cold, waiting for a photograph to come.

A few of my favourite things:
rain,
Scotland,
Science,
The mist near Loch Lomond at 5:30 in the morning,
Glasgow Rangers Football club,
IRN-BRU,
Reading
Isagel

IRN-BRU? What is that?
kilted exile
04-02-2004, 12:28 PM
IRN-BRU is the greastest pop/soda/ginger/soft drink in the world, it is made in Scotland and is virtually impossible to find anywhere else in the world (however I'm told that the russians like it as well). It is the only drink which outsells Coca-Cola in any country.

I "love",
the last day of classes,
wit that harasses,
camping on weekends,
and smiles that transcend.
On a side not I am in league with AP about the existence of love, I use the word here merely to express what I enjoy.
Hee hee , I have a very dear friend in Edinburgh who sends me a case of Irn Bru now and then bless his heart! :D

Gahh! Not Irn-Bru!! :eek: My brother drank that stuff constantly while we were over there. I think it tastes like melted orange popsicles with an aftertaste of black liquorice -- like eating an orange and a black jelly bean at the same time. Blech!
