I found a rhyme scheme I'm fond of and I want to get it to the point to where it just comes second nature to me. I've tried to write my own stuff in the scheme, but it comes out off. Do I try it that way OR do I use the Bart Simspon Method and write the same thing over and over until it's drilled into me.

Hello Noob.

Just keep trying different things in the rhyming scheme. Its essentially an oral discipline (depending on how long the verse is) so memorise it and keep making it up in your head and saying it out loud to yourself.

Pay no regard to sense or nonsense-its the scheme thats important first. Once your brain gets used to that it ll (hopefully) start generating Tennyson or Coleridge like verses!
