View Full Version : Can anyone recommend...
I'm looking for a good website that offers some basic information on writing poetry and poetry structure. I'm afraid my local library isn't abundant on books in this area. I live in a relatively small city.
Thanks,
Lara

hmm... there are many web sites out there that give all sorts of stuff about poetry... you just have to know what you'r looking for... im not an expert at this... but i can help you find what you're looking for... is there anything in particular you'd like to know about poetry??
I've been looking but can't find a good one. I am probably better off searching for a book. I guess I want to know the 'rules'. I can throw some words on paper any old way, but I should have some idea of the proper structure.

There are some advice about books on poetry in the thread titled "Starting out in poetry"- but perhaps you have already read it?
Thanks Isagel, I missed that. I didn't look back that far because I only became a member about two weeks ago. I'll take a good look.
Cheers,
