I think it would be nice to add the essays of Bertrand Russell to the site. At least some of them should be out of copyright.

If indeed it's possible to add some of his work, I'd like that.

You never quit, do you? ;)

BTW, you misplaced the link with the word.

It would seem neither do you.

I can't help wondering about that edit...

You shouldn't have such a suspicious mind Crisaor. The edit represents my inability to create a link to the website with Why I Am Not A Christian on it. Sorry to disappoint you.

I've just finished reading it, and I must say that I'm unimpressedd by his arguments. Of course, he does a good job when he refutes all the "scientific" arguments as to why God exists, but those arguments are incredibly lame, and my 10 year old cousin could see through them. If he doesn't believe in God because of what some people say, I respect it, but I don't undeerstand it. Also, some of the things he says in the article really shocked me, and I wasn't expecting them at all. For instance, when he defines God as "a conception derived from the ancient Oriental despotisms" it seems to me that his brain stopped functioning.

Sometimes people sound like they're trying so hard to come up with arguments against God it's quite pathetic.

I wonder if Christians sound the same way, to atheists, for the opposite reason. What IS that? Is someone wrong and someone right, or are we all self absorbed and ridiculously ignorant?
