Selling her books in the middle of exam?

I give no name,but it is a sad truth.English literature ,many students a crowded class.
waiting for my professor to come-three hours delay-is it fair?
By the way ;the books she sold were her lessons taught to her students every day
What was new? nothing except her appearance

Don't profs have to publish books to keep their jobs? I would be kind of irritated though if my professor tried to promote his/her own book in class. I mean there is a time and a place for everything and I just don't think that's appropriate. Although I must confess --- I pretty much went out and bought all the books one of my professor's recommended but he never tried to peddle his own publications in the class....
