New Money

A guest of and to wealth

Misty fogged morning, stirring of soul

Suns power slow burn

Hearts of relief, minds of regret

Coffeed nectar pours on veranda of gold

and leaves since yesterdays fall

Ready haven morning breach of night

As sails snap and ripple at journeys end

I see my son walk with the effort of infancy

Robed wife appears, sparkles of bright and ease

The sun wins war of mist and fog, suns delicate

warmth, welcome

Yet I stir uneasy

For I am a guest of and to wealth

Oh simple time and more of like mornings may

silent the decades of pasts loss and losing
