Two gripes-but real glad I found you

I was visiting this site for a long time before I realized about the forum, that the forum contained posts from people who like to write themselves.

I just thought it was really great that I could get the actual text from many great authors write on my screen simply by clicking. I live in a remote area and I am handicapped as well so to have access to all these books, wow. So, I wouldn't have had any complaint, unless...

See, I fancy myself a bit of a writer also. Once I found out about the short story contest, and the 100 posts and started ruminating, well, you get the idea: DISGRUNTLED. Then I was trying to figure out how I could post a photo that I took -- that was the idea of the posting. Then I figured, "oh, more red tape, OK".

So, I hereby hack away at the 100th post tree, the creative energies oozing like sap from the sturdy tree of submission.

Come on it's not that bad! They want to reward the loyal followers, not just those who join for the sake of competing. This is the best literary site I've ever found and I love it!

Captain Pike, in regard to the requisite post count of 100 for entrants in the Short Story competition, well, that was just one decision of many made during the process of creating the framework and drawing up the rules for the competition by the site Administrator and us moderators. I'm sorry you're not happy with it, but you do have another approx. 10 months to accrue 76 more posts :)
