Was supposed to do this at the weekend.
:bday_2: :bday_2: :bday_2: :bday_2:
I know this is in the wrong section (i have a motive!) but this week is the
100th aniversary of the first ever performances of The Playboy of the Western World by J.M.Synge and would like to ask any one whos interested to come Join me (and Virgil;) ) in the J.M.Synge Author forum and share your thoughts, and discuss the play!

There is already a centenary thread started, but feel free to start any thread yourselves discussing characterisation, plots etc. It would be a nice way to celebration one of the finest satirical plays to come out of Ireland in the 20th century!

i hope to see you all there!

Hi Niamh. I haven't gotten to the second act yet. I've fallen behind. But I'll try to read Act II in the next day or so and put a comment on the centenary thread.
