:D Hello This will probably be my last post for 1984.:bawling:
The book as a hole I felt was a good representation of the future. Both for when it was written but also for today. There are so many things in come between the book and our society.
One of the biggest points in the book for me was at the end when Winston and Julia meet for the first time after their experience in the ministry of Love, and they both find out they had betrayed each other. This show that know matter how much you love someone you wont do every thing for them although you might have said it.
Another interesting pint in the book is when Winston is being torture. Then he finds out that his “good” friend O’Brian that sold him out is doing it. Then Winston enjoys his company because he gives him answers. So their relationship went full circle.
If you have anything to respond with feel free to.
