Where you offered ice cream 20 years ago?Hi JB! I am assuming your question is 'where were you offered...?' You can ask only yes/no questions, I am afraid! :D

Or is it a typo and your question is 'were you offered...?'?

was there a specific reason for wanting icecream 20 years ago today?
did the reason relate to your emotional state?
If so, was the emotional state negative?
If so, was it negative because of something someone did to you?

That's it for now.

Is the accidental death directly linked to yours not having ice cream 20 years ago?
If so, did the death occur due to yours not having the ice cream?
If you often feel like this, is it because you feel guilty or responsible for some reason? Like, let's say, for somebody dying?
Did you know the person (I assume it was a person and not a pet ;) :p) before they died?
If so, did you know them well?
Were you friends?

Have you seen the guy the day he died?

If there was someone with him when he had the accident, could his death be avoided?

Is the senario such that you were invited to stop (at a soda fountain, let's say) for ice cream, and you said that you had to be rushing along for some reason, and the soon to be deceased carried on on his way to an accident (let's say he found himself in the path of moving vehicle) that was timed so that had he been at the particular spot where he died slightly later than he was (say, with the lateness that would have been caused by the time taken to eat ice cream) he would have escaped his fate?

Is any of this correct?

If any of this is correct, would it be more correct to remove the parenthetical bits?

In short:

Ice cream:

- Flavour is irrelevant.

- Not poisoned.

- Did not cause the death directly.

Me:

- Did not kill or got killed by anyone.

- Was offered the ice cream (not by the DP)

- Did not know the result of my refusal to eat the ice cream at the time.

- I was not accused of murder.

- I did not gain anything out of DP's demise.

- I did not find the DP.

DP:

- Died as a result of an accident.

- Is a he.

- Did not commit suicide.

- Was in one piece when found.

- Did not eat the ice cream.

- Died at home.

- Died 20 years ago.

- His age might be relevant.

- Was not alone at home.

- Was not married nor had he have children.

- Was younger than 40 at the time of his death.

- Died during the day.

- Was my brother.

Is it relevant who offered you the ice cream?
Was it a relative?
A friend of yours?
A friend of you brother?
An enemy?
Were you older than your brother?
More than, say, four years?
Were you younger than your brother?
More, than, say, four years?
Were you an adult when the offering of ice-cream was done?
A teenager?
A tween?
Is the brothers age relative only because it says that he was a child or is there any important information concealed because we don't know his exact years?
Did your brother die because of your carelessness?
Did you leave home when you were supposed to look after your brother?
And then he died?
And if you had eaten the ice cream, you would have stayed at home for a longer time and therefore could have prevented the accident?

Oh, why didn't she tell us before? We didn't know that Scher was such a proffessional football player. She never stops amazing us.
Wow.
We'll be patient.

I am terribly sorry! As Jay mentioned, I got a little busy in February and this thread slipped out of my mind altogether until a friend reminded me!
No, it is not.
Yes, it was a relative.
Yes, I was older than my brother.
No, I was not an adult when I was offered the ice cream.
It is only important because he was a child.
No, he did not die because of my carelessness.
No, I did not leave home.
did he drop the ice cream?
if so did he slip on the ice cream and fall?
did he house have more than one floor? if so did it have to do to the death of the personNo, he did not drop the ice cream.
Irrelevant.
Was your brother hit by the ice cream truck? and if you would have accepted the ice cream you would have been nearby and prevented the accident? No, he was not hit by an ice cream truck.

did he drown?
Did the bucket of Ice Cream fall on him?
Did someone else in the house eat the ice cream?
Did the DP get locked in a freezer?
Did DP eat peanuts instead and die of an allergic reaction?

Yes! If I had accepted the offer, we would have opened the freezer and found him before it was too late.

Does anyone else would like to post a new mystery?

I have a good stories with holes!:) Okay
There is a woman who rides the bus to work every day. There are two stops near her work-the first stop is one block from her work, the second is two blocks from her work. When she rides the bus to work each day, she gets off at the stop that is two blocks from her work. On the way home, she gets onto the bus at the stop that is only one block from her work. Why???

If you already know the answer, PLEASE do not answer right away.:D
