Best: Norwegian Wood - Haruki Murakami, a new and refreshing read, I was sad when it ended.
Worst: Doctors and Nurses - Lucy Ellmann, worst book, not only of 2006, but ever.

worst: A Feast For Crows - George R. R. Martin. I loved the first 3 books in this epic series, but couldn't even finish the fourth. I just didn't find the characters as interesting, and the plot seemed to really slow down.
best: Darkness at Noon - Arthur Koestler. Nuff said, great book.
