The woman of sadness

Sadness is a woman
that knocks on every door
and when you open
you see no one there,
she shoots inside your soul.

You try and try to force her out
and make her go away.
You build a wall around your soul
to keep her from getting near.

You close the door,
but just for a while,
cause she always finds a way.

When she gets in,
you get so scared,
you fear you'll end up alone,
cause every night
when nobody's there
she breaks out and screams your name.
She shouts "why does no one need me"
"why can't someone love me"
and "why do I sit here alone"

She screams in the dark,
she screams in the light
'till you can't take anymore.

If you can't get her out,
she'll open a door
that leads you into the dark,
that leads you towards your end.

I like it but not love it... Its strength but also its negative (to me) side, is that it's so 'light'...it shows sadness but it's not too tragic (and I have this personal fascination for darkness...), which is so very cute :) Or at least it feels like this to me, it doesn't make me sad while reading it ;)

Which almost feels like sadness is the desperate one, not the sad person :D Cute :)
