I Look For You

Evening comes soon to my loneliness
i walk around streets, look for you
yearning for you in the fires of my heart
i burn like flames and flames, look for you

Tears get dry on my cheeks
A melancholic whistle on my lips
my cigarattes reachs to mornings in my fingers
i inhale breath by breath, look for you

as your shadow appears on my path
walk step by step, follow you..
A wild longing goes into my blood
i drink sip by sip, look for you

nice, the comparison b/w a cigarette and the passage of time, making for a bit of thoughtfullness, sort of like time is burning down, enjoy it while you can sort of thing...i like it, i wrote somewhat of a similar poem... tell me what you think...

Drag

Flaring to life
With consumption of heat
Full, strong, alive
Embers fall, light
Flaring in the dark

Its brightest comes
With a slow death
As it is drawn steadily
Into the stress
Blown away, grey

Giving up its light
To ease a heart
Blackened by joy
Nonchalance of life
Live for the moment

Just before its doom
Another light flares
The slow short life
Of release of angst
Grows with death
