Ive been various places all around the world and my very favorite was Italy. Everything was beautiful. The scenery, the history, the food, the people, the fashion, the art, the theater...absolutely everything. But i would like to go to India, China, Brazil and Greece some time.

Well, I have a big world map on my bedroom wall with black thumb tacks everywhere I've been and blue ones everywhere I want to go. Needless to say there are dozens of tacks up there only a few black (unfortunately all on this continent so far). That will all change in March when I make my first venture into Switzerland and Italy on my spring break (plus an extra week, I only have one class that semester anyways :p ).
Other places I want to go are, Germany particularly Leipzig and Munich, Vienna in Austria, Prague in the Czech Republic, Kyiv and Odessa in Ukraine, All over Great Britain (with more emphasis on Scotland), I'd like to visit Japan, and Australia, Brazil, Egypt, South Africa, China, St. Petersburg and Moscow in Russia, Sweden, Spain (I especially wish to go to Pamplona, some Hemingway fans I'm sure will understand why :D ), Paris, Nice, Vimy Ridge, Normandy and Dieppe in France, Bastogne and Flanders in Belgium, the Gallipoli peninsula, Reykjavik in Iceland(I hope I spelt that right), and here in North America I'd like to visit, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Aspen, Seattle and Portland, Vancouver, Montreal, Halifax and all over Newfoundland, Boston and New York.....Off the top of my head :p .
Long story short, I want to go EVERYWHERE!!!

...INDIA!!!!! and Pakistan...

Yup! You must come to Pakistan, especially in Lahore! Lahori people are very lively and the food is sooo good. :D *drools at the thought of Lahori food*

Travelling is one of my passions, but sadly, I haven't been to many places yet. Even in my country, there are beautiful places to visit but haven't gotten opportunity of taking a tour to most of them.

But one can hope! Hope for more opportunities to to travel. :) If outside Pakistan, I will like to visit Europe's side the most. India can be fun too. I have always wanted to see Taj Mehal and some other places over there. :) China seems fun too; I love little Chinese girls; just like dolls they are. And I am really impressed by the way Chinese work - my auntie lives there and say that they are very hard-working. That's why there economy is boosting up so much. Maybe I can go there and learn to over-come my laziness. :D

I would like to visit Egypt, it appears so mysterious to me, walk along the Nile, see Pyramids and then perhaps, Middle East. And, most of the Europe too. I never had much opportunity to travel, but even if not these places, i'll go anyplace whenever I will get a chance. I wish I could see cultures different than India.

If Allah allow, everywhere in the world to see His grace.

Yet, and specifically, I dream of going to Castle Csejthe and see the Death Chamber where Countess Bathory used to torture peasant girls.

Scotland, Egypt to see the historical remains.
China and Japan to feel their spiritual nature.
Go to Srilanka and India to see and know more about how and what they worship..
But most of all, I have to finish the tours in Lebanon my country to see everything ancient cultures` remains here..

i'll go anyplace whenever I will get a chance. Well said, Maddie. Allow me to echo that.

Travel is not only interesting in its own right: I am also quite certain that meeting other cultures does a lot to counter racism and prejudices. They are, after all, caused mainly by ignorance and misunderstandings.

I totally agree  As unless you interact you will never know what the different cultures have to offer. Each culture is so unique. If one doesnt open up they'll forever be living under their own misconceptions.

I hear from so may typical Indians about Western nations, but, somehow I could never agree to what they say (Its not that I denounce Indians and hail others, but I think there has to be some rationale behind such comments). I think as they have never interacted with other than Indians thats why they dont know the other side. And, from my experience (although not much), from what little I have interacted, I find all of us have the same apprehensions, fears, etc, we are no different.

Hoping some day i'll get to travel enough.:D

now you got me drooling too, Pensy :)
we had a Geography teacher in school who travelled all over the world and she tasted the food everywhere and could talk about the food for hours on end.
I think I'll end up like her :) :) :)

And you wouldn't regret it. :D But beware, the food can become your weakness then! I miss old good Lahori Nahari and Dahi Bhalay and of course Gol Gappay. Though these things are also available in my city, but it's not the same as in Lahore. Whatever there might be in the world, you wouldn't find Lahori Bhangra (a dance) anywhere other than in Lahore. :D It is a good place really. People are lively and straight-forward. :)

Lahore reminds me of a famous saying about this city:

Jinhay Lahore nahin deikha, oh jamaya hi nahin. :p

It means a person who hasn't seen Lahore, he hasn't been born yet.
