HIM

I was reading Einstein’s maxims
And wondered whether it will rain morrow or not
When remembered when I last went swimming
It was freezing outside
My love was behind the window
He told me that he’ll wait for me .
I didn’t want to see him
And went swimming,
But while going underwater,
I lost my breath
And I remembered the time
When I was about to die there
And he saved me.
I got back my self-confidence
And went to the surface
I ran outside in the dark where
The moon had rose overhead and I noticed
The lights displayed on the top of the streets
Forming yellow curtains.
I looked after him
But he wasn’t there
I was outside,
With nobody near me to say “hello”
With nobody to ask whether I care of living
Or of dying
I gazed at the moon
When the clouds went aside and
I saw moonbeams descending on the path
Revealing HIM who had his arms wide-opened and
Whispered in the cold atmosphere:
“I’ve been waiting my entire life for you”
I ran into his arms
But when I thought I touched his whiskers
I realized it was just my imagination.
There wasn’t anyone to say “hello”
No one to ask whether I care of living
Or of dying.
And then I started crying in the dark
Until I came home and never thought of him again.
And now, while I was reading Einstein’s maxims
I felt a tear on my cheeks.
But I took it aside
With the sleeve of a green blouse I wore
When I stared at it:
It was from HIM.

My second poem attempt. Please, I'm waiting for comments.
