Sitting here on my own
feeling emo
but melancholy will be quashed
because what is the point on dwelling on this feeling
when you are not artistic and will not therefore create anything worthwhile out of it
Whatever it is
just grab that ball of negitive energy and throw it against a hard surface
and be all lightness
Don't suffer for your art, let it suffer for you.
this is not a poem.
the end.

Nice structure. Maybe dont use "emo" though, it's nice to stay away from cliches and stereotypes to make one's poetry more genuine. Well done! :thumbs_up

"Don't suffer for your art, let it suffer for you."

That's exactly what I have been saying all these years! Though I'm not so sure what my art is...

definitely stay away from the word "emo"... especially with the many connotations such a term can imply... well done otherwise, it is an interestng poem, perhaps a bit melancholy, but wheres the harm in that
