I'm finding my self getting lost in one of my british lit classes. It has to do with all the really old stuff like Beowulf, Tain Bo, Bebe, etc. But we have to understand a lot of the history of the times and I can't keep all the people straight.

Can anyone suggest a good website to help me study all this?

www.wwnorton.com/nael is a good site. It covers english lit pretty thoroughly, and discusses the lit to history/society. I just had beowulf last semester, so I know some general stuff if you need any help.

I really didn't have much trouble with the story, (or what I've read so far, I still haven't quite finished it, sooooo busy) it's more of the extra-textual things that I'm strugling with.

But thanks for the site, I'll check it out this weekend!

I found the first one very useful forextra textual stuff and the last one has lots of interesting links if you have time for exploring!
Also, depending on time, you could check out the Angelcynn website (it's a "living history society) which makes for fascinating browsing in addition to being informative on time lines, people, customs etc!www.angelcynn.org.uk/
Good Hunting:)
