This may or may not qualify as general literature, it would be a game but i have no rules. I have read hg2g and heard all about towels. Now I thought he was just being funny but, just for fun when I deiced to travel I began taking my towel everywhere and it turns out it is as useful as he says.
It is obviously good to have staying over night anywhere because it doubles as a pillow (I rarely no what is going on here and often end up packing in 5 minuet window) as well as and instrument for drying or cleaning up a mess. While in Turku my bag strap broke and I used a piece of my towel to mend it. Also when I was charged with caring some very sticky things I wrapped it in my towel so it didn’t ruin my stuff. In Short towels are good things. So I wanted to start a discussion on the uses of towels, either in the hitchhiker’s guide or other literature or even your own life.

In one of the books, cant remember which one, Ford tells Arthur how towels now come equiped with a flavour in one of the corners so all you have to do is suck on the corner. Or something like that. Also they can be a vicious weapon!

it was wheat germ and barbeque sauce, and totaly towels rule!
here is an example of towel usage in other literature
the hound of the baskerville
One towel passed round the throat and was secured at the back of the pillar
in this case the humble towel is used to sequere an unsuspecting baron or something to a pillar(not the most common use of a towel now is it)
