I remember reading what I believe was a short story in high school. I would like some help figuring out its title. The plot was essentially this: An outcast young man (I think this happens at a party), is asked to take a walk with a young beautiful woman who after talking with him intimately for some time reveals that she is only fooling him and cares nothing about him. The young man then kneels down at the water's edge, holds his head under and drowns himself. Any help identifying this sotry would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
