Because guitars and singers lie.
You never buy me candy hearts
Because that's just so cliché.
And you never send me love letters
Because they're just too easily thrown away.
Instead you hold me close to you
And whisper sweet words in my ear
You kiss my lips and hug me tightly
And how you feel is crystal clear
You don't need any lavish gifts
To show me your devotion
Because you show me always when you're with me
Your love as a pure emotion.

the only comments i have are that
1.) it is a quality work with an applicable message

2.) "And whisper sweet words in my ear" i think has a few too many sylable for the flow

3.) "love as a pure emotion"... absolutely love this line
