HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMESIAN!!!!

What to say about the wonderful Trevor?

His blank verse is by far the most clever

He puts up with us aliens to the point where others would wince

So it is an honor that he is our Alien Prince

He’s dedicated to his studies and charming to boot

Even if he doesn’t like us calling him C___ :D

For Jamesian

Do I hear the faint whisper of ghostly voices,
Echoing through this chamber so cosmopolitan?
Turning of the Screw becomes the book of choices,
And soft as eiderdown a name floats in: "Jamesian!"
Haunted dreams and haunted places,
Pass before me as if in a dream...
Beneath the bloodstained hair now a face is--
Ah, you have a birthday, the ghosts are telling me!
You naughty boy, why must you be mysterious!
Think you that you walk these rooms alone?
That you still have not found a home among us,
That you cannot rest because you don't belong?
That, dear Jamesian, is most preposterous!
We celebrate your birthday and your time among us!

Hoping that his head won't bump no more,
Let us wish a Wonderful Birthday for Royal Prince Trevor!
Praised by his Aliens for being so true;
But he abhors it when they call him C***.

Count me in...Cu***..:D

That one above was mine.:(Here is my rubbish attempt at my photoshopped image present..I tried to make it look like you were from 19th century -like Henry James. I tried.. I really did. The collar didn't fit perfectly and I had help from The Turnipey guy, who was only too kind to do my present for me..:alien:

This one below is Aimus' masterpiece.: :thumbs_up

Goodness! Where does one begin...?

Many thanks to all of you. It is actually not quite my birthday here, but thanks to you all I am celebrating a few hours early.
*removing cork, pouring*
Ah, that's better.
A few specifically:
M. le Pen, what can one say? Merci Beaucoup! The sonnet is delightful, and the book will make for some excellent reading, I've no doubt.
Lain and Madam Snot, thank you for your versifications as well. And Snot again for the crown and such - exceedingly royal. For your kindness, and Toni's as well, my censorship policy shall be lifted for the duration of my date of birth IN YOUR RESPECTIVE REGIONS OF THE GLOBE - and I have done the math! If the word is so much as uttered near me after 8 a.m. my time, complaining will resume for it on my part. But this liberty I shall allow for the day. (hope they do not see this for twelve hours or so...) :D
Virgil - Indeed, the room is a fine one; I look forward to many happy, quiet hours therein.
Robin - Thank you; my head is quite well now.
Toni (/Aimus) - The photo is brilliant. I have half a mind to put it in my profile like that. Much obliged.

Again, thank you all for your gifts and well-wishing. I shall endeavor in my future LitNet adventures to prove myself worthy of such praise and consideration.
