Currently I'm doing english language in literature in a uni at my place. i'm taking one of the english courses that needs me a do a reseach paper on any topic relating to my major which are english lg and lit. I was thinking of doing something on literature but I cant find any interesting topic to write about and mind u it has to be an argumentative essay. any suggestion?:)

Well to begin with, any topic of discussion can turn into an argument, would you agree, there are exceptions to the rule also.

I would suggest writing about how the world is realizing the importance of writers in the Technical Field as being the most sought after profession after writing Novels and books on Literature?

Only a suggestion :)?

On the other hand you can write on why people should take literature seriously and not in some cases?

Arif: about your paper, literature is the best thing you could do, and I don't know if my idea would interest you but I would definitely write an esay about that if I had to.

Perhaps you could write about the way an author's personal life influences his writting, especially in what concerns about love, i mean, how an authors personal life influences the way the person uses it either against it or acepting it, and if you want it more specific, the way the characters life relates to the authors life, hope you like the idea.....
