While writing on a book report I just realised that Ford was still alive in 1932 when the novel was first published. Has anyone of you any information on how Henry Ford did react after reading the book (I assume he did so...)?
Thank you guys for the help!

I don't know, but what an interesting book! And good point, I hadn't even thought of how Ford would have viewed it. You are probably right, though. It might have gotten around to him, and maybe he took the time to read it.
What are you saying in your book report?

I'm pretty sure somebody gave him the book (maybe even Huxley did so...!), and I'm also sure, that Ford read it - but as i said, i couldn't find any information about that. i mean it is not very relavant to my report, but my personal interest is very high in this point, just because i think that is highly interesting!
well, my book report is for school, about 2 pages...are u interested, or why are u asking?

I have to write a paper on BNW, also. We had to research a novel and its critics. I explored the pros/cons of BNW society, looked for the things that are "better" about their world, and "worse" about it, too. Then I have to say whether or not it's worth it . . . if we should try it be like them. I really liked the argument John and Mustafa have (ch 17?). If I find anything about that while I'm working, I'll tell you.
