So here is my question:
If you get an invisibility cloak for three days in which you can go around anywhere without being seen, what would you do with it? :p

hum.. I'm not sure... I'm very nosy but I don't like the idea of spying on people..
give me time to think about it :)
hum, maybe I'd go to people's houses/offices and drop them little gifts/eavesdrop on them to find out what cheers them up or makes them happy

As boring as it seems, id go sneak into the white house or something political and private to find out what really goes on and gain the info to blackmail and rat on corrupt people. Either that or look into big company boardrooms to see first hand where the best stock should be bought. I could make millions and start my lifelong dream of developing a program to promote literacy and free education for kids in third world countries. Even if its kinda lame:blush:

Ladies' locker rooms. :D Alternately, crime-fighting, although without offensive abilities, it'd be tough. Or, I could sneak down to Miss Caroline's house and surprise her :brow:...

~locking door~ Hi Robin... I see you're up and facetious already...
If I had an invisibility cloak.... well, Chemistry would be more fun, but I think for the most part I'm unnoticeable enoug without it. I'd probably just keep it in my bag in case a friend and I wanted to sneak out of class...
(Btw, Drame, that sounds like so much fun! Will it fit two?:D)

'Tis an invisibility cloak, not a shroud of silence, Lady Caroline :p.
~pops out of Miss Caroline's closet and throws off his cloak~ Good thing you locked the door, we wouldn't want anyone else popping in, now would we?

Not a problem Drame- he's been stalking me for a little while. Rain check until I've thumped him thoroughly enough to leave me alone for the trip?
Yes, better range, but short range is just fine. And you forgot about my dagger, and the fact that my bedroom is upstairs and this computer down. Oops. But I'll go take care of it...~grabs sabre, rifle, and 6' pole~ This ought to do it...

Night, you wouldn't be offending anyone. All you have to do is sit and listen. If we were close I would take you with me. And I've always wanted to go to a mosque. Perhaps you could show me. That seems different. I would know the kneeling procedure. Or anything else either, I'm sorry to say.

But I was 5 and excited about the wedding so I dont really rember much else.

Oh, perhaps I'm really uninformed. Isn't one supposed kneel down facing east in prayer? Frankly my only knowledge of what goes on in mosque is a 30second tv news clips and I thought people were kneeling down. Perhaps I'm really erroneous. Please forgive me if I said anything wrong.

Oh come on, if the pope can go into a mosque and pray, what's keeping you from going into a catholic church? It's really easy too, because the doors are (almost) always open.

Not really its more we go through a set of motions. And there are certain prayers and things said at each stage (some verse of the quaran , some thanks, some praises as well as your own personal prayer that you can put in at certain places. And its facing mecca , like the christians used to ( do they still??) face jeruslem when praying rather than east.

Oh, thanks. How long does a typical Mosque (I don't know what to call the event/ceremony?) ritual (we call it Mass in Catholic) last?
Catholic Mass usually last about an hour, depending on how fancy they get with music.
And its facing mecca
Oh I should have k now that.

I didn't know we ever did that. I know we don't now.

Umm not in manchester and well I just cant go in on my own so Im stuck but its one of the things I fully intend to do before I leave Uni.

well its basically a prayer usually Im actually not 100% sure because as agirl I tend not to go to the mosque except for special prayers. About 15 minutes TOPS with all the fialling ina nad out for the normal ones.
Friday pryer is longer about 40 minutes because there is a sermon. But my abasloute favouirte ( in a mosque) is Tarwaeeh which is only in ramadan tends to last between an hour and a half and 2.

I would probably go out with the intention of harming people I felt have harmed me in the past, but I don't know if I could go though with the harming them part. I suppose its one of those things that you would have to be in that position to truely know what you would do.
Though, I don't doubt I would go rob a bank or something, given they are usually insured for every penny and even if not, lets face it, no-one likes their bank....

First Day: Sneak into annual Nutcracker ballet.
Second Day: Sneak into the ballet again. Then go to the bookstore and stay all night just reading. :p
Third Day: ...Sneak in one last time?
See, this is why cool things are wasted on me. I can't think of what to do with them.

That is also a really good idea!
Ok. What will I do with the invisibility cloak? *wonders*
I will step in the aeroplane to Manchester, England. Then in a Taxi to Bradford University. There I will slap my brother, and will have fun with it. After it, if any more time will be remaining, I will step in the aeroplane to Egypt and see the lovely pyramids!
If only I could get my hands on such a cloak... :(

uh? Last time I checked, it seemed to last forever :) *wicked heathen witch*
just go there, Night. As long as you don't fool around with their wine and thingies.. cookies.. (help, Virgil!) they won't be offended.
You can sit in the back row.

Cookies?  It's not what Schoky hands out. Communion, a bread wafer that is symbolically turned into the body of Christ by the Priest's words.

I dont think anyone will ever get offended. I went to the Jama Masjid, here in India, and I too had the same feeling as you had, but they dont mind as long as you are fully covered, I mean your legs and arms should not be showing above your knees and elbows (I think so), and there were visitors who didnt know this were provided with long flowing robes. And, really no one was bothered.
Virgil - That kneeling procedure is called Sajda. Am I right, Night?
However, I wanted to visit a church once. It was a small local church, and t was closed then. But the keeper there said he would open it for us, and then vanished and just never came out, we waited for about 30 mins, and then left. We were thinking he didnt like us. But I am sure this is a unique incident, had we gone to a bigger church, this wouldnt have happened.

sort of a sajda is when you forhead is touching the floor , cant rember what its called when your just kneeling only its not really kneeling becasue of the way your toes are pointing.
very hard to explain.
