hi there
i'm studying d.h.lawrence travel's books
I never read women in love and the rainbow.
I just want to know if there a sort of affinities with these books.
please let me know.
I'm writing my thesis.

The character of the Brangwen family are carried over, especially the two sisters. But really they are separate novels, very much with differrent themes. Although the Lawrence world view/philosophy is in both. I hope that helps.

Hi stefania, I am sorry that I only now found your thread. I am quite interested in finding people to discuss Lawrence novels with. I am currently reading the travel books and liking them very much. I have read nearly everything Lawrence wrote and 3 full biographies. I am quite "Lawrence" obsessed, so I hope you check back on this post and maybe we can discuss some Lawrence sometime soon. Janine
