View Full Version : Where's Mono?
What ever happend to Mono? I enjoyed reading his posts; always well informed, intelligent, balanced and yet imaginative. And he was so active when I first started writing here half a year ago.
/Just curious.
Sorry I just realized this should be in General chat. Moderators, feel free to move it, since I suppose I can't. Sorry!

He left. He stepped away from the forums in September. Yes, I miss reading his thoughtful posts as well, as I'm sure many around here do.

I have been thinking about him too....
Why did he leave???
Banning a member is what I understand, but somehow I could never understand why a person would like to leave this nice place......

There's nothing to be alarmed or worried about :) mono, like many others' real lives gets in the way of them coming here regularly sometimes.

hehe, on the one hand, I agree with Logos that he has a real life and there probably isn't anthing to worry about.
on the other foot: has anyone seen piglet (RJbibliophile) around lately? she hasn't been here in ages?

Maddie he was not banned. He decided on his own that he needed more time and was either doubted ever coming or just stopping for now.

The same happened to me a month or so ago for a period of several weeks. I was unsure if I would return, but one always does, I think. And so: optimism! Mono will likely be back around sometime, I'm sure.

Aww Maddie...mono didn't get fed up. We're a lovely bunch if I must say so myself!
I couldn't personally think of leaving - even when the necessity of real life calls, I always find time to post at least once a day to let you all know I'm alive! :D (Cuz after all, some of you might want to get rid of me )
I was wondering about Piglet too, I haven't received a PM from her in ages and nor have I seen her post.
But mono will be back I'm sure.

She was here a few days ago; that's all I've seen for several weeks, though:

Thanks Jamesian...she is probably wrapped up in school right now. And she is probably a little more studious than I could say for myself and some others here :D

Real lives? No...? Why? Virtual ones will do just fine. :)
I'm relieved. If it's just a question of having free time, then there is hope to hear from him again.

A decision like that doesn't have to be a reflection on Litnet, sometimes reasons are hard for other people to understand...
Or again folks get busy with work school, ect. Mono is a great guy, so smart and nice. Hopefully he will return at some point.
