Heyyy everyone
I'm Megan, I'm fifteen and I live in a small town somewhere near Nottingham in England :) I hang out in Nottingham at weekends, going to movies, window shopping or just messing about with our patriotic Robin Hood statue! I love English Literature; I'm excited about finishing high school in the summer and then going to sixth form to do lots more English Lit and my other three favourite subjects. Time for a change :] I must be the only person in my English class who looks forward to Shakespeare topics. I'm also passionate about human rights and politics.
Umm, I'm an open, friendly and enthusiastic person. My favourite book is Gone With the Wind... I'm also crazy about To Kill A Mockingbird and Lord of the Flies. I read a lot of books :] I like a lot of them too, from Shakespeare to Stephen King. I love poetry and discussing it. I do a lot of creative writing. For someone who's good at emotive and effective writing, my overuse of emoticons on the internet is awful!
Other things I like are rock gigs, indie and rock music, clothes, make-up (and other shallow pursuits) and movies.
So yeah... that's a bit of a glimpse of me. Might make me sound like an idiot but thought I'd say hi to you all :)
Meg x
you don't sound like an idiot! actually, you sound a lot like me . . . :D
welcome to the forum, Megan! :)

Ahh well you know there's always the am-i-an-idiot phobia in the back of my mind *-) Haha.
Thank you :] Whereabouts in the world do you live when not in outer space? :P
Pennsylvania, United States! :) tho i tend to spend most of my time "out there . . ." :p
and don't worry about using too many emoticons. that's my favorite thing about this forum! :D

Woww lots of replies since I was last on, yayy. & I'm going to reply to them all in the one message, sorry, lol :)
Mir -- England's alright :yawnb: I don't know how to describe it... haha. It's pretty awesome right now with all the lights, getting into the Christmas spirit :] But I'm tired of darkness by 4.30pm! I think if you go to England you just have to visit some other place outside of London too :) London rocks but it's not a very accurate picture of England. If you ever come here, remember my wise words... :p Aha, I should work in a travel agency *-)
Shadowsarin -- Yess rock city rocks hehee :] I'm into a variety, currently obsessing over Dirty Pretty Things, My Chemical Romance, The Killers, Babyshambles, The Subways, Kasabian, Muse, Our Lady Peace, Taking Back Sunday, Head Automatica, The Distillers and too much other stuff to mention lol. Yes human rights; bahhh bloody right wingers!
subterranean -- Yes, how could I possibly forget those? Thank you :)
Nightshade -- Heyyy :) Smilies do rock. Yeppp I know about fair trade stuff :P They do taste better! And yeahh I run the Amnesty International group at my school, I'm pretty into that kind of thing. Woow yeah I've seen the Sonnet a Day thing, seems good. Thanks for the tip about the book club :thumbs_up
miss tenderness -- Thank you, I'm sure I will :]
Wooshh look at all those comments :]

Ah, so much for talking music with you then, our tastes are obviously different!
Oh, and I'm neither right nor left wing, I'm one of those buggers who hate all politics and such.
