I am looking for an English edition of the book/colletion of essays by Baudelaire, with the French title "Pauvre Belgique".
Does anybody know if it exists?

Camus said the past doesn't exist.
I believe him. :(

The things Baudelaire wrote about Belgium are SO funny!!!

Sorry guy who started the thread, no idea of English versions... try searching it on google perhaps?

It is hilarious indeed! (For me, it's even more silly, since in the Netherlands a lot of vulgar jokes exist about Belgians as well. I think it's pretty much comparable to the relationship between the Canadians and the Americans - only then just the other way around, I hope: belgium were previously called "The Southern Netherlands...")

I don't know whether someone was mad enough to translate it into English, though, to reply to your original question.
