In the book Orwell is constantly bringing up subjects that are extremely close to how things are today. For instants in the book there are telescreens where you are watched 24/7. Today there are video cameras in ever part of society. Everywhere you go you can be watched.

If you have anything to add please do so.

Yes there are alot of things for example during school we are watched like 24/7 we cant go to the bathroom without having a pass we are watched when we are on the computers and they can see what we have gone on. We have alot of cameras around the school also. Those are just some of the ones i can think of right now but please add more this is an interesting topic!:idea:

Yes I go to the same school as Dancer4life and we also are watched when we eat lunch and are getting on the buses. What is going to happen next for our school are we going to have video cameras in every room in our school. And are they going to end up putting things in our lockers so theey know whats in there all the time.

I think that this camera thing is getting way out of control. There are cameras EVERYWHERE. There are camera on buses, in lunch rooms, certain parts of halls in the school. What is going to happen next? Soon enough they will be putting them in every classroom, every bathroom, the gym, on every street, every part of halls in schools, in changing rooms at malls and other stores to make sure you dont steal anything because our society is so untrusting. I also agree with weightgirl about the lockers, i wouldnt doubt it if they do put camera inside lockers.

I totally agrre with you 100 percent. Our world has gotten way out of control by watching our every move. It is like the government has no trust in us at all. They think everybody does the wrong thing. Well guess what there are some good people out there who do the right things. It is stupid how they are putting cameras in school hallways, buses, airports. What is next in our society? Who knows.:flare:
