Every since we got the new server it has been fast, but it'd crash fairly frequently. I finally got the datacenter to replace the memory on it today, since that was the likely cause. So that explains the downtime earlier today and hopefully the frequent crashes will stop.

Here's hoping that the issue was memory-related.

And thanks for updating us on the matter. A lot of forums and other services don't do that, which I think is wrong as you as a user end up thinking that no one is doing anything for the issue.

And thanks for updating us on the matter.Indeed. Thank you Chris. Let's hope you nailed the root cause.

In the middle of the night today (in the day for some of you folks over in Europe), the server will be going down for around 30m for a planned update (doubling the ram from 4g to 8g). Just a little FYI.

bit of a problem... the new ram mucked up the server. Its out now, back down to 4gb. Don't know whats going to happen with it.

Ya here too. It was only in the evening that it started working.

Ya, I was sleeping and so didn't get it fixed until I woke (was the middle of the night here).
