Help - Literature Term Required

First off I hope that this is the correct place to post such a request apologies if not.

I am looking for a nine-letter adjective, derived from Latin meaning 'shining back', it is also a literary term meaning 'shining brilliantly'.

The best I could come up with is refulgent. However, I don't think this is a literary term.

Any ideas folks ?
