We have this assessment 2morrow, for some university thingie. Well Anyway, we sort of have to read some short story and tomorrow we'd be writing a paragraph answering some question about the short story, sounds easy, but it ain't.
Anyhow, its "A Horse and Two Goats" by Narayan R.K,. The thing is, the first few pages speak of some old woman, who is so poor and survives on other's kindness, and can hardly pay for anything neither afford any. Anyhow, he takes his 2 goats and sits under a horse statue thing, everyday. So once, a foreign man comes over to him and this is the ending of the story, (Will be typing it after this)
The thing i can't figure is... WTF does the ending mean -.-

He suddenly looked up at the clay horse and cried, "Marvelous," without completeing his sentence. Muni (the main charecter, or the old man) felt he should get up and run away, and cursed his age. He could not readily put his libs into action; some years ago he could outrun a cheetah, as happened oonce when he went to the forest to cut fuel and it was then that two of his sheep were mauled - a sign that bad times were coming. Though he tried, he could not easily extricate himself from his seat, and then there was also the problem of the goats. He could not leave them behind.

Did the foriegn man kill him? lol
or Did he just die and this didn't happen :/
Or was the part in the story, (I haven't mentioned) but he refers to gems and such, was the foreign man stealing those gems and killing the old man??
