Mára aurë! I have been stalking this forum for too long now- and lest I stalk it yet longer, disgracing myself with improper stealthiness; I bid everyone good day.

*makes a humble and loooooooow obesiance*

About me, well yes, hrrm, let me see... I'm young, I'm a girl, an amans librorum (lover of books), and a hyped lunatic!

Wait just a minute, you didn't hear me say that! I'm perfectly sane yes, no, aaaaahhh... *is torn betwixt the options*

My interests include (but are not limited to) Writing, musica, books, animation, computers, martial arts, weapons, fencing, costumes, orchestra, art, exercising, Christianity, theology, and study.

Linguistics too. I love languages. If only I were smarter... I would learn so much faster. As it is, I'm struggling along with Elvish (Quenya) and Gaelic rather slowly... I already finished Russian and Spanish. I would love to improve my Latin and Anglo-Saxon too...

*insert heart-felt sigh*

I ramble to much. Carry on with your, ah, whatever you were previously doing.

*slinks into corner, grinning at people hopefully*

Oh right. And mead, I must have mead.

*looks dolefully at purse*

I suppose I should say more about favorite authors and stuff... but that can come in later posts. I have a very wide variety of taste though; ranging from Emerson's Essays to Roald Dahl's children books.

*more obesiance*

Ta!

Weeeeell, no on does. But technically, nobody speaks Latin any more either. However! my main purpose for studying Anglo-Saxon is so that I can easily read books that were written in that tongue... without having to use a translation.

It's also strongly connected to Middle English, which I hope to study in the future.

And of course, a lot of people think my studying Elvish is pointless... but I enjoy it. It is fuuuuuun. Me loves languages.

Thanks for the welcome!

WOW! The number of languages you've learned is AMAZING! Smarter? Hardly!

Besides your mind-boggling proficiency, it sounds like we're a lot alike. I love language and languages too, although I haven't learned more than two(more like 1 and a half with my low level of fluency). Mostly I just like words. ^_^

I'm pretty new, too, but I didn't really do any lurking. You have more patience than me. When I found this place, all I could do is think, "Wow, I wanna play, too!" :D
