Well, lets start off with a few things.

What is the setting of the story? What is Hamlet's religion?

Think of the poor Ghost's problem: He has been murdered and sufffers in Purgatory-- a religious reference to Catholic faith. The poor old ghost complains he has been buried without proper burial ceremony and rites--another reference to religion. Shakespeare ( a closet Catholic) is writing for a Protestant queen--the entire play smacks of religious tension. Also, Shakepeare's own son Hamnet died very young and most likely did not receive a Catholic service since it could only be performed with risk of life at the time. Hope this helps get the parts moving.

HAMLET uses religious words such us god,heaven,hell...although he shows his rebellious thaughts through these words,by using binaries...look at the scene of the first encouter between Hamlet and the ghost, you can notice that words used by Hamlet destruct all norms, show that any truth in life become ambiguity in his mind...and that shows Hamlet's incertitude and that's what made him hesitant before killing...
