Well, Lear and Cordelia, underneath after things have been righted.

Her "Poor poor perdue ..." speech is touching.
Early on he suspects his mistake re his golden girl; then he believes himself unworthy of forgiveness, but is so happy that she forgives. He just wants to be forever with her.
He loves poor creatures (Edgar playing the lowlife) and realizes he never attended to such when he was King.
Edgar loves his Dad.
One of them, Burgandy or France, takes Cordelia w/o a dowery out of love.
The Fool has affection for both Lear and no doubt Cordelia.
Glocester has what might be called brotherly affection for Lear.

Also, there's Kent's love for Lear as his king. Also, Byquist mentioned the Lear/Fool and Edgar/Gloucester relationships. Personally, I think those are very interesting, especially as they change a lot through the course of the play.
It was the King of France who agreed to marry Cordelia, btw.

I just hope u mean Shakespeare's King Lear...if so consider the kind of love that endures. It is such as is self sacrificing and not drawn to materialistic tendencies. One's motive for loving is important as seen in King Lear's three daughters. It is the reason for loving that would guarantee how long such love lasts. The family is also a unit of life parents should handle with care.Attaching material rewards to professions of love as seen in Lear's case may just ruin our happiness.Actions should be rewarded not really professions.
