No. I often have some same feelings and thoughs as they do, but I've never read a novel where's a character just/almost like me. Instead I've read many poems that seem to tell about me and they have become very personal for me.

I used to when I was younger. For some reason I don't feel that anymore. I know what you're talking about though.

Not when I read a story, but when I write a story, one or more of the characters represents me to some degree, and all of the characters represent something of me.

I tend to read a series five or six at a time and the long suffering spouse says I pick up mannerisms from the characters. She always knows when I'm reading Matt Helm novels (especially the 60s) or the Continental Op--I'm even more condescending or know-it-all but without the sophistication. We are what we read or what we think we are or as Lyle Lovett sings I live in my own mind.

Yes and No.
Yes, because, there are some characters with which I have a thing or two common, for example, to little extent, the liveliness of Maggie Tullivers (Though I am very different from her in many things.) and the bosiness of Hermione Granger. (There are times when I get weird and bossy. Heh, it doesn't hurt to be truthful sometimes.) And of course, the singer-talent I have does resemble a bit with that of Bilbo Baggins. :D
No, because I am the only me. :p

I've gotten that feeling a few times, particularly when the character is somewhat timid.
Sometimes painters have a tendency to make the subjects of their painting look very slightly like themselves; it's unconscious. Maybe we do the same thing with the vision we have of a certain character. Or maybe I'm just babbling x)

Cliche but I am a teenager so I can see some of my personality reflected in Holden Caulfield.

Everybody can find some of his tarits in different characters. There is nobody though with whom I can fully associate myself. Usually when I read, I just think how would I act if I were the hero. Sometimes I would have done exactly the same thing, sometimes completely different.

never found a character that is exactly me but ,whenever I like a character so much I try to put myself in it's place, thinking how would I act if i were her what would I say,how would I feel if that happened to me .
u know that kindda stupid stuff, that happens specially with romantic characters being a romantic person myself, and I think every one finds something in commen with some characters coz they represent us ,humans so they must look like us
