Sibelius is a software program for writing music, or to be more exact, to notate music (the program doesn't write th emusic for you, you must do it yourself) A very handy one. Very many users around the earth. Many of them very talented.
Now we come to the point. Sibeliusmusic has a website where all those composers can upload their works and which can be freely listened online. (There is also the printing possibility, but that usually costs money.)
There are really good works up there, which can be freely listened to.
You need a small plugin called Sibelius Scorch for that, but that can also be freely downloaded from either there or this page. (http://www.sibelius.com/cgi-bin/download/index.pl)
Here are some of our favourites:
Children of Lir (http://www.sibeliusmusic.com/cgi-bin/show_score.pl?scoreid=49619)
Outrage I: Anger (http://www.sibeliusmusic.com/cgi-bin/show_score.pl?scoreid=43121)
The Lone Ar-ranger (http://www.sibeliusmusic.com/cgi-bin/show_score.pl?scoreid=22617)
The Wild Mountain Thyme (http://www.sibeliusmusic.com/cgi-bin/show_score.pl?scoreid=4420)
Chateau Neuf (http://www.sibeliusmusic.com/cgi-bin/show_score.pl?scoreid=63177)
And, as a small self-promotment, our own Crow (http://www.sibeliusmusic.com/cgi-bin/show_score.pl?scoreid=63146)
