Happy Eid-ul Fitr

Assalamu alaikum,

The great month of Ramadan has wonderfully almost passed from today here in my country. Though, I don't actually know how's it over there (yours') ?

Thus, I'm wishing my entire Muslim bothers and sisters a very smooth Eid-ul Fitr celebration. Wishing all that we've so far done in Ramadan has been accepted, accredated etc. I hope we're all recorede as inhabitants of Jannah-Ameen!

We here in Nigeria did Eid on Sunday. We did 29 fasting that's why.

Our Eid was in Monday. The month completed to 30. when I told you earlier that it was 28 I was wrong ,it was 29(I'm always lost when it comes to dates!)so this is not weirs:D

I stopped by a resteraunt where I ate in ramadan yesterday to buy a can of 7up and the man gave it to me free! and a chocalte too!
Course I went backagain today for there scrupious waraq ainab cost a arm and a lleg but worth every penny!

Hey Miss T, you are most welcome. EID is one of the big festivals in India too, I just love this time of the year.

I hope you had a great time celebrating. :) And the fireworks pictures are very nice, for Diwali, we too burst crackers, so many things are common while celebrating different festivals.

wow, not mentioning the national dances! I just came from a real partying in the middle of the city,they performed really interesting dances representing each reigion of my countery. Taleen coud n't help but dancing! I go nuts sometimes!!:D

These are some things that I made for Eid yesterday.

Sweets [which we made a few days prior]:
barfi
kurma
goolab jamoon
fruit cake
carrot cake
date squares

Food [yumm!]:
tandoori chicken
sweet 'n' sour shrimp
roast beef
curried goat
curried duck
curried potatoes & channa
chicken biryani
paratha roti
dhalpuri roti
curried mangoes

And, of course, in Trinidad, Eid wouldn't be Eid without the vermicelli, which we boil with milk and spices, and we call it 'Sawine' [sah-wine].
