i really wasn't expecting a response, but i wrote to her yesterday (using the email address on her webpage) and i actually received an answer this morning. maybe there's an upside to liking a not-so-popular author. XD

she's just a children's writer you probably wouldn't know. i picked up the first book when i was younger (like two years ago--ahem), and the third book recently came out. exciting. :D

shoutgrace: thanks, but nothing well-written there, really. this is one of those cases when quantity is better than quality. :p
