Hello members,
I am in the process of putting together a reading list of world literature novels. The subject: 20th-century Visions of America from around the world. I have nothing yet and would like some help. Any suggestions?

?? "Perfect Friends" by John le Carre.

[Edit: oops, that might be 21st century, & you'ld probably be jailed for reading it in the US)

"Across the Plains" - Rudyard Kipling

By "America" do you mean the U.S.A. or the continent?

If the latter, then:
Conrad's "Nostromo;"
Graham Greene's "The Power and the Glory," "The Lawless Roads," "Honorary Consul," "The General," etc;
le Carre's "Tailor of Panama;"
John Buchan's "Sick Heart River;"
...

Hello members,
The subject: 20th-century Visions of America from around the world. You mean how the US is seen by other nations? Ie, works of non-American authors about the US/Americans?

Definitely "Amerika" by Kafka.
